Fresher’s Week Fun!

9th Sept 2009

Hi everyone and welcome to the re-vamped Edinburgh University's International Relations Society - where reciprocity and communication are used to create long lasting alliances, or something along those lines. Whether a healthy debate, a quiet drink and chat, study session or a good night out with friends are what you're looking for the IR Society is the place for you. At the IR Soc we want to create a community for students of IR or those with an interest in the subject. We have socials every second Thursday, and the weeks in between we usually have international movies, events, outings, debates and speakers. We also have strong links to the faculty so we have lots of information and links to different events and academic issues. So join up at one of our upcoming events and meet interesting people with interesting opinions.

Pub Quiz!
Our freshers week pub quiz is taking place on Tuesday at 8pm in the Committee Room in Teviot. There will be free food, free banter and all are welcome, please feel free to just turn up and introduce yourself and get to know everyone. Also join us afterwards on a night out which promises to be memorable.
